Port Whangarei Marine Centre Appoints New Manager

The Port Whangarei Marine Centre is gearing up for another busy season and have appointed a new marine centre manager, Tim Vernon. Tim has a strong background in servicing marine clients and has worked in locations as far afield as the Maldives and Singapore. His experience and skills are ideally suited to the position he now holds. Tim comments:

“I am really pleased to come onboard with Oceania Marine and take on the task of operating their new marine centre. I’m hoping my customer focus will bring a new dimension to the service which is offered to clients. I will be leading a great team and looking forward to the challenge and complexities of operating a full service yard.”

Tim replaces Brad Hall who, having overseen the installation of the new 100 tonne travel lift and set up of the hardstand and facilities, takes up the position of Oceania Marine’s senior project manager.
